Ker Equivit B-Quiet Ker Equivit B-Quiet is an oral supplement for horses containing Thiamine (Vitamin B1) which has been shown to have a calming effect in anxious, excitable and high-strung horses. Horses in heavy training or fed high grain diets may have a reduced production of thiamine by the intestinal bacteria due to stress and changes in the hindgut environment (acidosis). Thiamine is required for the metabolism of carbohydrates as well as nerve transmission and a deficiency therefore may lead to hyperirritability and nervousness. Feed the following amounts once daily and mix with the feed.
